MIB were entrusted by the Principal Contractor, FMP Ltd to demolish the obsolete Daliburgh School building after the completion of the new Daliburgh Primary School. This work was in addition to the MIB operations as the Main Subcontractor in the construction of the new Daliburgh Primary School.
To reduce the environmental impact of the demolition works on the local area, the building was internally stripped out with any hazardous material contained and separated from the construction waste.
The external demolition works required MIB skilled plant operators to work in contained areas, with protecting the fabric and new grounds of the new School building of key importance.
To further reduce the environmental impact on the local area, the MIB Mobile Crushing Plant was utilised on site in order to process the concrete waste responsibly before removing the processed aggregate along with the timber, metal and mixed construction waste.
